The Galician Blonde cattle breed, known as Rubia Gallega in Spain, is gaining popularity and notoriety as the world's most premium beef. Originally raised for both milk and draft work, the Rubia Gallega is celebrated for its gentle temperament, hardiness, and adaptability. This breed, also referred to as Galician Blonde cattle, produces high-quality meat with rapid growth and excellent feed conversion rates.

Originating in Galicia, a province in Spain, the breed is best known for their tenderness and intense beef flavor.
Originally a dual purpose breed used for draft work and milk production. Now primarily a beef breed producing some of the wolds most sought after beef , however some are still used for milking to this day for the production of traditional Galenian cheese.

A naturally docile breed that's easy to handle with exceptional growth rates with select sire data showing an average daily weight gain of over 2kg along with a 3.6kg feed conversion
The maternal aspects of Rubia Gallega are amongst the best, milk production is excelent and the unassisted calving rate for the cows site above 95% with plenty of room in the pelvis for the largest of calves.
Rubia Gallega are a great option for breeding over dairy cows certain sires have a calving weight of only 30-32kg. Even crossed with dairy cows, the calves will still exhibit exceptional growth.
